The Musical Theatre Festivals Educational Foundation
We founded MTF Educational Foundation because we know that students who participate in arts programs do better in school, develop more profound empathy, welcome inclusivity, and are more engaged with their communities. Unfortunately, quality performing arts educational opportunities are not accessible to every student who has the desire to participate. We want to change that!
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to fund MTCA scholarships & resources for musical theatre education opportunities, bringing equality to the arts for Middle School, High School, and Youth Theatre Students. Helping to cultivate the next generation of performers and industry professionals.

Our Goal
We aim to create educational opportunities for students nationwide in Musical Theatre, raise funds to provide MTCA scholarships, and partner with Teaching Artists and higher education programs to help cultivate the next generation of performers and industry professionals. Educational Art is more than an opportunity to perform; it's about creating confidence, collaboration, and community.
Our Scholarship Awards
MTF facilitates scholarships for the MTCA Festivals and Higher Education Scholarship Awards and connects students to BFA and Conservatory Programs. Since 2023, the MTF Educational Foundation has awarded over 295 scholarships to students attending MTCA Events, based on need and performance.
Since 2023, we have awarded over $350,000.00 in scholarships for students to continue their MusicalTheatre Education.
The Next Step
Since 2024, the MTF Educational Foundation has hosted the MTCA College Panel & Fair at the MTCA Festival. As a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the next generation of musical theatre performers, we are thrilled to have this as part of The MTCA Experience at the MTCA Festival.
We are excited to provide MTCA students, parents, and directors with valuable information about educational paths and higher education in the arts after high school. We pride ourselves on the fact that MTCA is more than a competition; it's a chance to build your confidence, hone your talent, and explore your future.
This MTCA Experience has become one of our most highly attended events at MTCA, providing crucial guidance and inspiration to the hundreds of aspiring musical theatre students who attend the event. THE MTCA COLLEGE PANEL & FAIR.
